About our Pastor

Pastor Daniel Spigelmyer grew up in central Pennsylvania, in a small town called McClure. Ever since he was a young boy, he has had a deep love for the church.
After graduating high school, Pr. Daniel attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in German and minored in Latin and Economics. During his time at Millersville, he availed himself of the opportunity to study abroad at the Philipps-Universität in Marburg, Germany. After graduating college, Pr. Daniel attended the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, where he focused his studies on Bible and worship leadership.
He has served in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and now in Massachusetts. He was ordained on December 5, 2015, and was called to serve at Emanuel in Fitchburg on December 9, 2019.
Preaching and worship are two of Pr. Daniel’s strongest passions. His vision for discipleship is rooted in God’s Word—in preaching and teaching and most importantly in the sacraments. It excites him to accompany the people of God as they to grow in faith through the Word and go out into the world to serve.
